In Practice

Cassandra began teaching in-class demos and assisting faculty members during her time at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston at Tufts University where she earned her BFA in 2014. Concurrently, she worked in the school's digital photography laboratory where she assisted walk-in students with Adobe products, scanning, and printing. This gained her the experience that she was offered a studio manager position after graduation.

Her position in the Media Stockroom gave her a new understanding of teaching and troubleshooting project ideas with art students. Running a main resource of the school with over 5,000 pieces of equipment, Cassandra broadened the checkout system across campus to make it easier for students to access equipment. By having well established knowledge of all sorts of media equipment, students sought out her expertise and mentor-ship in the process.

In 2018, she left the SMFA to pursue a new adventure and her Masters! She is currently a MFA candidate in Duke University's Experimental and Documentary Arts program where she in earning her Certificate in College Teaching.
